For over fifty years, the Familie von Berckefeldt has been holding periodic reunions. These are usually three- to four-day events and several have included family members from Germany, Scotland, and England as well as those from here in the United States.

Familientreffen 2011 was held over the weekend of July 1-4, 2011, in Branson, Missouri. Over 100 family members participated in the reunion, which was held at the Westgate Branson Woods resort. Family members enjoyed the Showboat Branson Belle, a special program from Gerhard von Berckefeldt of Barsinghausen, Germany, and other local events available in the city of Branson.

The reunion planning committee consisted of Richard Berckefeldt, Colleen (Fortner) Templer, Betty (Berckefeldt) Doane, Rex Murdock, and their spouses.
